Danfoss Dilemma Game

Danfoss has developed two types of dilemma game – one for sales people and one for purchasers.
Dilemma for sales people is a board game that can be completed in two hours – the players are asked to consider various dilemmas, analyse facts regarding corruption and discuss how to interpret Danfoss’ rules. On the basis of the discussion, the players improve their ability to assess complex scenarios, be more aware of the many grey zones and make the right decisions.

The dilemma game for purchasers is based on Global Compact. The game specifically concerns the challenges which the Danfoss purchasers are facing in their daily work. The game is an online self-education tool which leads the purchaser through a series of situations, with relating questions, and based on the answers, the purchaser is presented with a conclusion and a proposal for how to act correctly.

Corporate Citizenship

Danfoss’ overall goal within Corporate Citizenship is "keeping our own house in order".
This applies to employees, so that they have an attractive workplace and a healthy work-ing environment. It applies to the environment, where Danfoss products contribute to energy savings, and where the environmental impact of their production is constantly being reduced.
And it applies, in a broad sense, to social and ethical responsibility.
Efforts are continually being intensified, because when employee satisfaction is high, consumption of resources is as low as possible, and the company’s ethics and reputation are good, the result is a positive effect on the accounting bottom line.
